Speech & Language Therapist
Caroline is new to b2 Chalfont Clinic but has years of experience as a children’s speech and language therapist. She qualified at University College London (UCL) in 2006 with first class honours and completed an MSc in Speech Difficulties at the University of Sheffield in 2015. She has worked in clinics, mainstream schools and nurseries, family homes and special educational provision.
Caroline has a particular interest in speech sound difficulties and language disorders in children who are otherwise typically developing and she worked for over 10 years in speech and language units/ bases for children with severe difficulties in these areas.
Caroline has had a longstanding interest in speech, language and communication in all its forms and, prior to becoming a therapist, she gained an an Intermediate Diploma in French from the Institute of Linguists in 1999, Stage 1 British Sign Language in 2000 and an Associate Recital Diploma from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2002.
In her spare time, Caroline still enjoys theatre. She also does pilates which, along with chiropractic adjustments from Rachel, keeps her in shape for Latin American dancing.
