Maria Chakarova

Maria Chakarova is a third-generation doctor who studied medicine at the Medical University City of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Having qualified as a doctor from University, Maria went on to carry out her residency in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Military Medical Academy, Sofia between 2008 and 2012. She has been working as a consultant dermatologist in Bulgaria and Ireland as well as in England. She has extensive training in Practical Dermatology, Acne, Skin Cancers, Laser treatments, Scar improvement, as well as aesthetics treatments for anti-aging at a number of teaching hospitals and private clinics throughout Europe and the UK. Dr Chakarova currently works full-time for the NHS.

Maria is registered under the general register in General Medical Council as well as being registered in Ireland. She is a Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Member of International Dermoscopy Society, Member of St. John's Dermatological Society, Member of European Society for Lasers and Energy Based Devices, Member of Aesthetic Multispecialty Society, Member of British Medical Association and Member of the Summer Academy for Practical Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine.
